Coaching Dialogue with England Roses Head Coach, Simon Middleton

What a fantastic start to the RWC for the Red Roses winning their opening match 89-14 against Fiji. Attendance at Eden Park for the three opening matches was confirmed at 34,235, making it a women's World Cup record and fulfilling expectations that this will be the biggest tournament of its kind yet. And while the Red Roses are the favourites, the Black Ferns will not lack for motivation on home soil. They opened with a comfortable win over Australia. Back in November, Inspiring's Paul Westgate caught up with Simon and chatted about coaching, the women's game, the Red Roses and how preparations were going for the 2022 World Cup. Lots of learning and insight into an elite rugby programme from Simon who was awarded the World Rugby Coach of The Year 2021! The link to the coaching dialogue is below.
